      Edgar Meyer is a celebrated American bassist and composer, renowned for his unique fusion of classical, bluegrass, newgrass, and jazz styles. Born on November 24, 1960, Meyer began his musical journey at the tender age of five, studying under his father and later with Stuart Sankey.
