      Milt Jackson, affectionately nicknamed "Bags," was a pioneering force in jazz, renowned for his virtuosic skills on the vibraphone and his ability to blend various styles seamlessly. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Jackson's career spanned over five decades, during which he collaborated with some of the most influential figures in jazz, including Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, and John Coltrane.
