      Arne Domnérus, affectionately known as "Dompan," was a pioneering figure in Swedish jazz, renowned for his mastery of the alto saxophone and clarinet. Born in Solna, Sweden, in 1924, Domnérus began his musical journey as a child, studying the clarinet before making his professional debut in the early 1940s.
