      Helen Callus is a celebrated British violist renowned for her exceptional talent and international acclaim. Praised as "one of the world's greatest violists" by the American Record Guide, Callus has made a significant impact in the classical music scene as a concerto soloist, chamber musician, and educator. Currently, she serves as a Professor of Viola at the prestigious Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University. Callus's impressive discography includes works from Bach to contemporary composers, showcasing her versatility and mastery of the viola. Her recent release, "British Music for Viola and Orchestra," recorded with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Marc Taddei, further solidifies her status as a leading artist in her field.
